Radio Dismuke in Second Life Reply

I would like to add to what Cig Girl said about working at a 20s club in Second Life and listening to Radio Dismuke there.

Second Life is a "virtual world" program so that you control a cartoon character (sortof) and visit 3D places with your character, and chat with other people in there, and buy stuff and build your own 3D home in there, etc. You don't have to pretend to be someone else with your character; many people treat it as something like a nightly "vacation" spot.

I was in Second Life shopping for classic cars. I went to a store that had facsimiles of early cars and classic airplanes. Radio Dismuke was playing in the store. I'd never heard such a fun radio station. I copied the stream address to my own clothing store in Second Life, and I added an area where people can dance. You can dress in tux and gowns and waltz or charleston etc while listening to Radio Dismuke.

The important thing about this kind of environment is that more and more people encounter Radio Dismuke randomly when they are shopping or exploring, they hear the music and are charmed, and then become regular listeners. I listen daily, inside Second Life or out.
