One modern plague hanging like an albatross round the necks of governments is the Anxiety Of The Street Child And Child Trafficking.In an effort to address the menace in the people?s republic of Togo, Le Maxque FOUNDATION, a charitable organization set up by the singer Le Maxque is organizing the first ever charity concert dubbed The Forgotten Future Charity Concert Lome 2009 in aid of the street child and child trafficking across Africa ands other parts of the world?
The organizing planning committee is putting together all modalities for the event expected to take off in Lome, the capitol of Togo in March 2009.Details of the updates will be posted on this site for world wide reference.
Main Objectives Of The Event
* To sensitize the general populace on the need for sound and secure family planning practices to avoid Street Childrening and future Child Trafficking?.
* To call the attention of existing governments policy to enforce all existing policies in favor of the Street Child And Child Trafficking
* To bring all existing and scattered street child under one roof for easy access to education, health and accommodation including possible reunion with lost families?.
* To find sponsors for the Street Child where the need be?.
* To relocate the Street Child into local SOS VILLAGE. where the need be..
